hehe- how’s that for a title?I think that these three prints are super adorable! Educational, cutesy, (but not too cute for a little boys room) and I WANT THEM for my little guys room! I’ve been noticing more and more patterns on Etsy- and I love it! Here is an especially lovely one by SewingWithMe3
I can imagine this purse in many different patterns and color palettes… But, I think I’d just like to copy her first and make it just as you see it… Lately I’ve been appreciating and enjoying the color gray! So, the polka dots, with the subtle gathering, and pretty blossom equal perfection…
And, for the life of me- I can’t sleep yet! Baby boy went to bed at 10:30 and here I am 3 hours later. I must be nesting. There is no other explanation for this energy! I ironed and prepared some orders to be sewn tomorrow. Nope. Not tired at all. I cut out an entire apron pattern. I’m quite excited about it and would love to complete it before baby gets here! I then ironed the pieces, and folded over the narrow hem on the bottom (to make sewing easier and faster tomorrow). Next I skimmed through a couple of blogs and checked Twitter. Hmmm… still not tired. Finish cutting out fabric for the Squirrel Baby Shoes (the matching bib is done, and I’m thinking of appliqueing a onesie) for the Etsy Baby Shower. Clean up. Blog. Head to bed! Wait, check a blog or two and Twitter just once more- then bed.
No matter what- rain makes me feel so cheery! I know the effect is usually different for most people- lol. But, I just love the rain! It has been pitter-pattering off and on for a couple of days now…
I do. I really do. Not just because they save my clothes from all manner of messes, but because they’re pretty! I love the feminine feeling that they lend whenever I slip one on… no matter what I may be wearing- if I slip an apron on, I feel like a lady.

Delicious colors, versatile, and handmade! I don’t knit (I’ve tried once with disastrous results) and am in awe of the workmanship! Oh and with the prospects of nursing coming up (the little one is due in less than 40 days!), I love the idea of camisoles and shrugs or sweaters Layers like this are cute and make for ease of access without having to be too revealing (though I am planning on making or acquiring a nursing cover too). Though honestly, I couldn’t afford this- I love looking at it for inspiration and the colors are just cheerful!
