This song has been ministering to my heart all morning. Life can be so rough, but God is always strong to save! No matter how dire the situation, no matter how low my heart- He is faithful, comforting, abiding, and life giving.

No, that isn’t what I’m planning for dinner. I’ve steered clear of sushi this pregnancy (and the last too!)- but I did pick up some great fabric by Robert Kaufman that has all sorts of yumminess scattered on it! Ok ok, I don’t really care for shrimp, or eel, or raw fish (all I have to say about the spicy tuna roll is. yuck.), but California rolls, veggie rolls and especially Crunchy rolls are heavenly!  Anywho, check out my shop if you’d like to see more pictures of this new material in action!

November 12-18 marks the week celebrating all things babywearing. Though I’m still fairly new to babywearing (and babies!) I absolutely LOVE it already! While I was reading up on it, it just made sense. Babies should be carried. close. a LOT. It is soo natural too. When Aiden was still little (at 10 months he’s already wearing 18 month clothes!) I wore him in a Peanut Shell Sling. We really enjoyed that. Several times a week, we would bundle up and go for a nice long walk. We saw a lot of lovely nature together and just had fun talking about all that we saw.  Now that he is a wee-bit bigger I put him in my divine baby carrier- the Ergo. I just adore it. He has been teething lately and just had a little touch of the cold recently and needed a lot of “Mommy time”, wearing him is the perfect solution! I’d put him in the back carry position and usually within 20 minutes he would be sound asleep. whipped this up for him a little while ago and forgot to post about it! I ordered some Heather Ross fabric and thought it would make a cute little lounge outfit for him… I think I may even list this in my Etsy shop- since he is modeling it so well and all…
